How to get there: By road from the Leningradskoye Shosse; no convenient public transport
Perepechinskoye is one of the main cemeteries used for new Moscow burials since 1999 — very large, modern, laid out in regular numbered sections north of the city near Sheremetyevo airport.
Its defining practical feature is distance. There is no convenient way to get there without a car, which is exactly why families abroad, and families elsewhere in Russia, order care here rather than asking a relative in Moscow to «drop by».
What grave care at Perepechinskoye actually involves
Sections are regular and numbered, so finding a plot from the records is reliable. Once the plot is known, the work is predictable: mowing, weeding, washing granite, levelling the mound, autumn leaf clearance.
Because the cemetery is young, most monuments are modern polished granite in good condition, and the job is maintenance rather than restoration. Regular washing keeps polished granite looking as it was intended to look; neglect turns it grey with water spotting within a couple of seasons.
Vehicle access is good throughout, so monument delivery, plinths, kerbs and paving are all straightforward and priced lower than at the old inner-city cemeteries.

Is a full granite complex possible here?
Yes, and this is one of the easier cemeteries for it — access is good and plots are regular. We photograph and measure first, then send layouts and prices.
How soon after a burial can a monument be installed?
The usual guidance is to wait until the ground has settled, which in practice means the season after the burial. Installing too early is the most common reason a stone later leans.
Can you meet someone there?
Yes — if a relative or friend is travelling to Moscow, we can arrange to meet at the plot.
