Prices are set in Russian roubles; dollar figures are approximate and given for reference only.
Services and prices
Every job ends with a photo report sent to your Telegram or WhatsApp, so you see the result from wherever you live.
One-time grave cleaning
Litter and old wreaths removed, weeding, grass cutting, the headstone wiped down, the burial mound tidied. Photo report included.
Deep clean-up of a neglected plot
For plots untouched for years: overgrowth and self-seeded bushes cut back, debris bagged and taken away, the mound restored.
Seasonal care package (4 visits a year)
Spring clean before Radonitsa, summer weeding, autumn leaf removal, a pre-winter check. Photo report after every visit.
Grave search by name
We locate the plot through the cemetery administration using the full name and year of burial, then confirm it with photos and GPS coordinates. If the search brings no result, the fee is refunded.
Headstone cleaning
Moss, lichen and dark stains removed from granite and marble with stone-safe products — no acids or abrasives that dull the polish.
Restoring inscriptions and portrait
Engraved letters, dates and portrait lines cleaned and re-painted with stone paint, so the inscription is readable again.
Fence painting and repairs
Rust removed down to bare metal, anti-corrosion primer, two coats of weatherproof enamel; minor repairs of metal fences and flower beds. Price depends on fence size and corrosion.
Planting perennial flowers
Winter-hardy perennials — periwinkle, sedum, creeping phlox — that need no regular watering. Plants, soil and planting included.
Marble chippings
Decorative stone chippings laid over dense geotextile, so weeds cannot grow through. The plot looks tended all year round.
Tree stump removal
Removal of stumps and roots that lift the headstone or fence, agreed with the cemetery administration; the pit filled and levelled.
We work at Moscow and Moscow region cemeteries only. Larger jobs — headstone installation, paving, new fences — are quoted individually from your photos.
What affects the price
Distance to the cemetery
Cemeteries inside Moscow and just beyond the MKAD are charged at the base rate. Distant Moscow region cemeteries add a travel charge, which we state in the quote up front — never afterwards.
Condition of the plot
A plot tended a year ago and a plot untouched for a decade are different jobs. Overgrowth, self-seeded trees and accumulated debris move a visit from the base rate towards the deep clean-up range.
Size of the monument
A standard headstone is cleaned at the base price. Large memorial complexes with a pedestal, flower bed, table and bench take more time and materials, and are quoted from photos.
If you have photos of the plot, send them with your request — we will name the exact price straight away. If not, we start with a visit and “before” photos.
No prepayment — photo report first
- You send a request via Telegram, WhatsApp or the form on the site.
- “Before” photos and a quote. You see the real condition of the plot; the quote is fixed before work begins.
- We do the work at the agreed time.
- You receive the “after” photo report with the date and GPS position of the plot.
- Payment. We agree on a payment method that works for your country when confirming the order — several options are available, including payment via relatives in Russia. Payment is due after you receive the photo report.
Plan ahead: send your request 5–7 days before the date you need the grave tidied. Before Radonitsa and Trinity Sunday, when Moscow cemeteries are at their busiest, two weeks ahead is safer.
